Domaine des Terres Promises "The Promised Land" has been in existence since 2004 in the heart of the Saint Baume massif.
Jean-Christophe Comor, a self-taught winegrower, has 14 hectares that he farms without any chemical inputs in the winery or the vineyards.
He makes wines in the appellations Vin de pays de la Saint Baume, Coteaux Varois and recently AOC Bandol with the use of the facilities of his friends at Chateau Pibarnon.
With the region original being planted out by the Romans, Jean Cristoph's estate sits at 400 meters in altitude at the base of a small mountain that peaks at approximately 1700 meters and is a mix of clay, limestone and mountain stones with strong veins of calcare providing his hallmark of mineral freshness.
